Territory is one of four game modes in Red Orchestra 2. Two teams (one attacking, one defending) battle over zones of the map to advance further or to hold it as long as possible. For a team to capture an objective, they must have more units in the zone than the enemy. Only 1-3 objectives are available at a time on any map. Some objectives have the option of being destroyed by Engineers. Objectives can have different capture times, making some harder while others easier.

-Lockdown Mechanic If the attacking team is taking too long to capture an objective, a Lockdown countdown will start, usually at the length of 3 minutes. When the countdown reaches zero, the defenders automatically win, no matter how many attackers are in the objective zone.
